Hexacter Heroes · ten minutes on the bus beats an hour the night before.
Everything is saved on this device only — no account, and it works with the plane switched on. Built-in lists come with recorded audio. For your own lists you can record each word in your own voice — anything you skip is read by the device voice.
Every word sits in one of five boxes. Get it right and it moves up a box and waits longer before it comes back — 1 day, 2 days, 4 days, 8 days, then a fortnight. Get it wrong and it drops to box 1 and returns in the next round.
A word counts as mastered once it reaches box 5. That is roughly a month of getting it right, which is about how long a 听写 list has to stick.
Saves scores, streaks, your own lists, pins, settings and coach to a small file on this device. Voice recordings aren't included. Nothing is uploaded.
