FOR PARENTS

What kind of parent are you?

60 questions. 16 parenting styles. 64 ways to raise a kid in Singapore.

Homework, screen time, weekends, the PSLE year

Same engine as Hexacter, same six traits and the same research, reworded for homework time, tuition decisions, screen-time battles, weekends and grandparents' opinions. At the end you get your parenting style, your superpower, a gentle watch-out, your ideal co-parent match, and, if your child has taken Hexacter Heroes on this device, how you fit with their hero.

There's no best style. Every style raises great kids in its own way.

  • Just for fun and self-reflection. It is not a psychological, clinical or parenting assessment, and it says nothing about whether you're a good parent.

  • Share links contain only your type code and percentages.
  • The parenting wording is adapted from the main test and hasn't been validated on its own. How the scoring works.

Questions parents ask

Who made this?

A Singapore parent, as a side project: first a spelling app for my own kid, then these quizzes. It isn't from a company, school or tuition centre, and there's nothing to buy.

Is it scientific?

It uses the same six-trait scoring as the main Hexacter test, and the research behind it is explained on How it works. But the parenting wording is new and hasn't been tested on its own. Treat it as a fun mirror, not a diagnosis, and never as a judgement of anyone's parenting.

What happens to my answers?

They stay in this browser on your phone. Nothing is sent anywhere, and there's no sign-up or tracking. See the privacy page.

Can my spouse and I compare?

Yes. Each of you takes it on your own phone and sends the other your result link. When you open your partner's link, you'll see where you match and where you balance each other.

What about my child?

Children aged 6–12 can take Hexacter Heroes, the kids' version, on the same device. Their superhero then shows up on your result. There's also free spelling & 听写 practice with their hero as coach.
